UKRAINIAN OPEN ASSOCIATION OF ORGANIZATIONS, GROUPS, AND PERSONS HELPING CHILDREN WITH ONCOLOGICAL DISEASES
Draft of the Declaration and Association Statute

 

11. The Association is necessary

     a) for close coordination and integration of actions;
     b) for providing fast mutual help and cooperation;
     c) for implementation of joint (interregional, all-Ukrainian, international) actions and projects;
     d) for unified interaction with the authorities, international foundations, hospitals, etc.;
     e) for representation of our organizations in the eyes of the society;
     f) for opposing fraudulent groups and persons.

2. The Association is an advisory body, whose decisions are to be regarded as recommendations. Any participation is mandatory only if an Association member has promised it orally or in written form in front of other members. Also mandatory is adherence to the basic principles of the Association. Admission and withdrawal are voluntary.

3. The Association is created by founders, which include organizations and persons. Other members are affiliated according to the decision of the Association Council (after a discussion during an Association meeting or via the internal information network).

4. The Association unites registered organizations, informal groups, and private persons whose work is in line with the work of the Association and who adhere to the basic principles of the Association.

5. The main structural unit of the Association is a region, which can be represented by one or several organizations.

6. Members of the Association may speak (on one or another problem) on behalf of the entire Association only if given the permission of the Association Council.

7. For successful work, the Association should be a registered organization.

8. It is necessary to find and invite people who will form an initiative group for registering the Association.
