WE NEED  ROFERON, INTRON-A ore LAFERON !!!

Hepatite is one of those diseases that usually follow leukemia. It is caused by infected blood (Ukrainian tests for transfused blood leave much to desire), growing activity of virus which already dwells in the organism and general weakening of immune system during the treatment.

Our children obtain hepatite treatment just here, in the hematology, being observed by their doctors in charge. The main problem, the most expensive one is medication. Medication that is used for treatment of hepatite with leukemia background - recombinant interferone alfa-2B. Produced by pharmaceutical companies of Switzerland and USA, it has brand names ROFERON and INTRON-A. There is Ukrainian analogue - LAFERON. Speaking objectively, it is less effective and that's why it is less preferrable. But on the other hand it is much cheaper. Total amount of INTRON-A necessary for 1 course of treatment (and the child may need 6 such courses) cost 800-900 US dollars, while the same course of LAFERON is 10 tomes cheaper. The price of ROFERON is almost unspeakable. 

But the parents often do not have money even for LAFERON. There are several children in the department who need hepatite treatment: Xenia Rupcheva, Mishael Norenko, Vladimir Bannik...
